As 2016 is coming to an end, (only a few hours left, can you believe it?) we are all ready to look back in the past year and start making new resolutions for the new upcoming year. Despite 2016 being a good year or not, thinking positive and setting new goals is the first step to a creative new course in our lives.
Here are some of my resolutions for 2017. I share with you only 5 of them but I have set more in my mind:
Getting and stay organized! So easy to say, so hard to achieve it. I have a huge list of things I want to do, things I want to complete and other things I need to finish in 2017. So, I have to organize all these in the best possible way.
Focus on my blog
I have started this blog in 2016. I didn’t dedicate enough time to it though, the amount of time I believe a blog needs to expand and have loyal readers and become well known. I know it needs to invest more than my time therefore I know that after my work, this needs to be my number one priority.
Eating healthy-exercise more
Spending hours and hours in front of my computer and following a not so healthy diet I know it’s not the best for my body, mind and soul. It’s time to start working out (2-3 times every week would be a great beginning) and also time to start eating more healthy. (Apples come to me!)
Declutter all the way
There comes a time when you realize that you own too much stuff, (clothes, books, or papers, notebooks, etc) and you don’t really use, wear or need them. You are trying to find a tiny space in your wardrobe for a new sweater or for the new boots you recently bought and there is nothing left. Or you check out your photos and your documents, looking for that photo or that file and you can hardly find them. Same happens to me and I really need to declutter my home, my pc and my smartphone as well, in order to be more organized and more productive in the end.
Reading was always my addiction and the best way to escape away. When I was younger I used to read a lot more but lately I read only before I go to sleep. Last year a bought many interesting books and as I read only 1/3 of them I know it’s time to start finding the time to read more. ( in case you are interested in reading more in 2017 have a look in this reading challenge from Modern Mrs Darcy )
So, have you already made some new resolutions for 2017? Let us know in the comment section below. Whatever you have on your mind though, try your best and the best will come!
And as this is the last post for 2016 I would like to thank you all for being with me this past year. I wish you all the best from the bottom of my heart and may this New Year equip you with good luck, good health, good fortune and good times! Happy New Year everyone!
As always, thank you for visiting and have a great day!
