Things to do in Toronto

Toronto is one of the best cities to have a good time no matter what your age or interests might be. Here are just a handful of the best things to in Toronto if you want to have the time of your life:

Niagara Falls

OK, so it’s technically a 90-minute trip from Toronto to Niagara Falls, but you simply cannot go to Canada without setting your eyes on this extremely impressive waterfall, where you will see around 750,000 gallons of water rush down impressive curved cliffs every second.

Archery District

If you’ve ever dreamed of living life as a lumberjack, you’ll love Archery District, where you can learn all the tools of a lumberjack’s trade. Throwing a backyard axe, archery tag and other logger-related pursuits are the order of the day at this fabulous Toronto attraction.

The CN Tower

The CN Tower might seem like any other skyscraper on first glance, so you might be wondering why it is such a great tourist attraction, Well, the fact that it is 1,815.45 feet high and boasts a glass floor might have something to do with it! If you want spectacular views of Toronto and beyond, you can’t skip a trip to the CN Tower.

The Royal Ontario Museum

The Royal Ontario Museum is home to a huge collection of historical and cultural items relating to Toronto. It is the perfect place to spend a few hours getting to know more about the area you have chosen to holiday in.

Casa Loma

Canada’s answer to Broadway, Casa Loma is the place to be if you want to see an impressive show put on by one of the many touring theater companies who set up shop in the district. You can also see local productions if you’re looking for something a bit different to do in the evening.

Haunted Walk

If you love the spine-tingling chill of a good ghost story well told, you won’t want to miss out on the Haunted Walk – a spooky tour of some of Toronto’s scariest locations. If you’re lucky, you might even see one of the Canadian spooks for yourself.

Whatever you plan to do in Toronto, you should make an effort to get to know the locals, who are the friendliest bunch you could ever meet, and who will have tips and suggestions for attractions that many not be so well-known.

Looks like there are many beautiful things to explore! I’m looking forward to the day I get to see Niagra falls – it’s such a force of nature and so mesmerising to look at. Also I’d LOVE to try archery – you can’t do one off lessons near me without signing up for loads but I’m determined to try it this year and channel my inner Katniss Everdeen!
