TWO OF MY FAVORITE FACE SUNSCREENS: KORRES AND BIODERMA

TWO OF MY FAVORITE FACE SUNSCREENS: KORRES AND BIODERMA

Hello everyone!

June is here and so summer days are too. Hot weather and sunshine all day long.  Of course, in my country there are more than 300 sunny days every year and that means I need to wear my sunscreen almost all year round. For this reason i use different sun cream through the seasons and  two are my favorites, Korres and Bioderma

KORRES YOGHURT SPF50 Sunscreen Face Cream

I have been using this moisturizing face cream during the winter for the last 3 years. Korres is a Greek company but well known in many other countries as well. It contains knotgrass, rich in flavonoids which protects the skin from UV and IR. The key ingredient is yoghurt which also is very beneficial as it moisturizes the skin and protects from dryness and damage or irritations that exposure to the sun can cause. Very light and small quantity is enough and can be used at the neck area too. It is water and sweat resistant and non comedogenic. It meets my winter needs and generally the months that sun is not very strong. For my non Greek readers you can find Korres products in big drugstores or if you prefer online shopping in websites like Sephora and Feelunique.

BIODERMA Photoderm MAX Crème SPF 50+

For the summer months i prefer using sunscreen with SPF 50+. Even though Bioderma is not very thin it is easily applied without leaving white marks on the face. It is very suitable for fair skin and sensitive skin, in few words perfect for my skin. But the best of this cream is that Photoderm MAX offers real internal biological protection: Cellular Bioprotection. Its exclusive patent preserves and stimulates the skin’s defenses (immunity) during sun exposure. Activates the skin’s natural defenses, protects from risks of cellular damage and combats premature cutaneous ageing. It is also fragrance and paraben-free, waterproof, photo stable, non-comedogenic and hypoallergenic. Who could ask for more?

So, what about you? What is your favorite sunscreen for your face? Share it with us in the comment section below.

As always, thank you for visiting and have a great day!

I love both of these brands but have not tried their sunscreens! I’m using Farmacy and Glossier right now.

I always use 50 SPF also. It’s the best to protect the face agains sun damage. I never heard about Korres by the way, would like to try it.

I hardly ever consciously use a sunscreen but these look like really good products…it’s nice to find products that work for your skin too.

I’ve not been too big on sunscreens before (I never sunbathe) but as I get older I realise that I need to make more of an effort. This is a good starting point!

I’ve heard such good things about bioderma. I really need to try korres. As I get older I realise the importance of a good sunscreen.

They both sound good! I don’t use much sunscreen here in Finland (well it’s never very sunny haha), in the US I used to use some SBF 50 one but cannot remember the name. Btw I love those seashells in the first photo, they give it a nice summery touch. 🙂
