The car service, Uber, is available in over 58 countries and it allows one to get a ride in a few minutes; the payment for the rides can be done online too. Uber ensures that you are in total control of your cab, helping you track your driver´s progress to your location. You, no longer, have to wait a long while for a cab. If you are an existing Uber user, you should be well aware of how many free rides the company offers in a bid to acquire loyal users. However, there is no need to envy new customers as there are ways to finding uber coupon codes for existing users too. Although Uber promo codes are exclusively provided to new users, there are ways for existing users to earn Uber credit. Let us elaborate;
1. Referral Method
The Uber referral program is largely responsible for the company’s success. Although the program was implemented over 4-5 years ago, riders, to this day, still take advantage of this program to earn credit. So, how does this work? Well, a rider is provided with a promo code that is credited to his Uber account when he provides the code to a new user. The new user then downloads the app using the code to claim a free ride. In addition to the new user getting the free ride, the referring rider also then gets free ride credit.
2. Ride with a new user
So, you have a friend who has just downloaded the Uber app because of your insistence. Not only does he/she have a free ride, you do too, because of Uber’s referral program. However, why let the freebies stop there? You can now travel with your friend (new user) to a certain destination for free. And, when your friend takes his/her first ride, you also get a free credit applied to your account again! It sounds relatively easy, doesn’t it? Well, it is. However, you should understand that free rides aren’t worth losing your friendship. Therefore, you shouldn’t be pushy when you request to take a ride with them. You should also understand that not all promo codes guarantee a free ride. If the promo code does not cover the entire fare, you should split the fare with your friend.
3. Use another rideshare app
Another rideshare app that functions similarly to Uber is the app, Lyft. And, like Uber, they too provide unbeatable promotion codes, with some of them providing up to $50 in free ride credit. What’s in it for Lyft? Well, Lyft is in a battle with Uber and they are providing such promotion codes to lure Uber users to their platform. And, when two major corporations get competitive, it is only beneficial for the consumers. Therefore, if you are not loyal to Uber, you can consider trying new ridesharing platforms. You can always juggle between different rideshare apps. After all, you are not legally obliged to only use one particular service platform.
