How To Become Summer Ready On A Budget

Hello, everyone!

The balmy summer season is well and truly established. The days are longer, the sun shines brighter, and our moods are lifted. There is nothing better than heading to your friends for a summer barbeque or driving to the beach for a leisurely paddle in the sea or venturing to the park with your nearest and dearest for a picnic. Just like winter, spring and fall, you want to exude the essence of summer through your clothing. The pieces that you choose to wear are an extension of your personality and should make you feel confident and positive.

When it comes to achieving the perfect summer look, you’ll need to consider your accessories as well as your attire. There’s nothing worse than heading to the coast with the most stunning floral chiffon dress accompanied by that old duffel bag that’s been festering at the bottom of the wardrobe for a couple of years because you couldn’t find anything else to hold your sun screen, shades and book. Take a look at some of these ideas that will set you summer ready without breaking the bank.

Outdoor Living

Summer is all about spending more time outdoors with the people we love. The need for comfort as well as style is vital. You don’t want to be relaxing in the park in restrictive clothing that looks good but sees you sweating profusely. You need to look for looser fitting, yet still stylish and flattering pieces. There is no need to head for the high-end fashion boutiques when you can source sundresses you will love at great prices online. You may want to select a simple coral pink shift dress that’s playful and feminine. Perhaps you are after a more sophisticated look and would rather opt for a monotone flutter dress. Either way, your women summer dress can be accessorized in such a way that it looks equally perfect for a cocktail party or a summer picnic.

Don’t Neglect Your Feet

Summer is the ideal season to explore different styles of comfortable yet stylish footwear. For a classic look to accompany your summer maxi dress, you might want to select an open toe ballet pump. For a more relaxed look, you could opt for a sandal. As with any shoe, adding the sparkle of sequins or diamante can elevate an entire outfit from day-wear to evening elegance.

Look for shoes that ooze style but remain practical. Birkenstock has a strong hold on the summer footwear market because of their sturdy and comfortable yet stylish design. You could venture off the beaten track in a pair of these sandals and still look like a fashionista.

Hats And Glasses

Nothing quite says summer more effectively than a gorgeous summer hat. When wedding season descends, the quest to find the perfect summer headwear can seem impossible. However, if you opt for an understated fascinator, you are showing that you aren’t afraid of trying something a little more unique and daring. With lace detailing and a variety of textures such as silk and velvet on offer, it has never been easier to look chic in the summer.

If an occasional hat isn’t quite what you’re after and you’re looking for a more practical solution to protect you from the glare of the midday sun, think about getting your hands on a wide brimmed straw floppy hat. Paired with some oversized aviator sunglasses and you can carry off a gorgeous Bardot-esque look as you relax by the swimming pool or mingle with friends at a barbeque.

With a huge variety of sunglasses available, you could choose the wrap around for the ultimate UV protection. The classic Ray Ban look will go with any outfit and will never slip out of fashion, meaning you won’t have to purchase a new pair of sunnies every season, as long as you don’t lose them or sit on them. Tortoiseshell, gold effect, metal, and black frames adorn the shelves and can make selection all the more tricky. Ensure that you don’t opt for form over function and go for a pair of sunglasses that fit well with a shade that you like that has full UV protection.

Bags

The graffiti print has been one of the looks within the fashion world this year that has transcended the catwalk and made its way onto the high street. This look carries on into the range of summer bags this season. With slogans and bold geometric designs adorning beach bags, clutch bags, and handbags, it’s easy to pick up the ultimate summer accessory at a reasonable price.

It’s time to look great and start enjoying summer. By following these tips, you can become instantly summer ready on a budget.

I love the options of clothes in summers and also the girls look more prettier then. My favorite summer accessory are my shades and cap. I think girls have more options in dresses than boys.
