Hello, everyone!

Dealing with blemishes is a woman’s nightmare. These annoying blemishes tend to appear at the worst of times and if you are unable to handle it correctly, it can lead to scarring and awful discoloration. Most of the time, these are generally caused by acne breakouts. It can also be caused by a hormonal imbalance, too much exposure from the sun, aging, and even poor diet. It can appear not just on the face but also on other parts of the body, commonly on the neck, shoulders, and back. However, no matter how worse they can become, there are ways on how you can heal them.

Here are five tips on how you can heal the blemishes on your body.

1. Apply vitamin C serum to your face and body

Vitamin C is known to help in building up collagen and promote healing. It is easily absorbed through the skin and works even after it dries. Vitamin C is a good source of promoting collagen and elastin production which what one needs to help your body generate new skin and naturally heal acne breakouts and blemishes.

2. Apply natural home remedies to your blemishes

There are a lot of natural home remedies you can easily find right in your kitchens such as lemon and tomatoes. Lemon juice, with its bleaching properties, is a natural skin-lightening and brightening remedy that can reduce any dark spots and blemishes. It also exfoliates the skin and kills acne-causing bacteria that cause hyperpigmentation. Tomatoes, on the other hand, are a great source of vitamin C which can give you a glowing and blemish-free skin. Including tomatoes in your daily diet can help you enjoy a healthy skin and body.

3. Have a chemical peel treatment

A chemical peel treatment is effective in refining the dark spots in your skin and help in regeneration. The products that are used for this treatment contains glycolic acid and salicylic acid that helps in adding out spots and exfoliate the dead skin cells. It smoothens out and rejuvenates your skin.

4. Apply creams and lotions that contain properties for removing blemishes

There are a lot of creams and lotions that you can easily buy in any drugstore nowadays to remove blemishes. Find one that has fewer chemicals that may worsen your skin condition. Also, look for creams and lotions that will not irritate your skin. If you are unsure what to purchase, best ask a professional dermatologist first prior to buying one.

5. Book a laser treatment

If your skin and body discoloration and blemishes are not removed by using the remedies stated above, you still have another option that is proven to be the most effective which is a laser treatment. What dermatologists do is they modify the collagen in your body using lasers to eliminate scars and discoloration. It can be pretty costly compared to other treatments and may involve more than one session, but it is proven to be an effective way to treat blemishes. You can find reliable and trustworthy cosmetic and skin clinics like Body Details that can guarantee you to provide the right kind of treatment on what your body needs.
