Hello, everyone!

This month, I thought I would share with you three of my favorite lifestyle and beauty books. There are some books in my selves in which I like to come back and read again from time to time. You could call these books classics. I am pretty sure, after a few years, they will be (still) in any lifestyle lover’s bookshelf.

Love X Style X Life by Garance Dore’

Garance Doré is very well known by her famous blog which lately has been renamed as Atelier Doré. Garance is also a photographer and an illustrator. She is French, from the island of Corsica, but now she spends her time between New York and Los Angeles. In her book, which is full of her illustrations and other beautiful pictures, Garance shares stories from her life, her career and her style. She also shares love stories, some of her own love stories.  She mixes fashion and style tips with love advice and life lessons but always with her unique, classic, elegant and full of confidence, voice. I really enjoy the interviews with famous personalities, such as Emmanuelle Alt. Her sense of humor and the fact she is open and intimate about her past years, make this book interesting and why not, entertaining as well!

How to Be Parisian Wherever You Are by Anne Berest / Caroline de Maigret

Do you ever wonder how Parisian women are so sophisticated and chic without really trying hard? How do they achieve this effortless style and where their attitude comes from?  Well, here is your funny book guide to find out all these! Four French women, friends for many years, share and discuss everything from fashion and style to relationships. From love and affairs to party, dinners and recipes. This is a book is for those whom the sense of humor is sarcastic as the book its self might be ironic, pretentious and snobbish.

The Luxe Life by Fleur de Force

If you have never heard of Fleur then you should know that she is a successful beauty and fashion vlogger (and lifestyle blogger) in the UK.  This is her second book (the first one was ”The Glam  Guide”), a helpful, essential guide full of advice and suggestions for many different topics. From beauty and fashion advice to decor and hosting ideas, to recipes and to general lifestyle tips and tricks. The book itself has a beautiful, modern and yet sophisticated design.  It is hardback with a rose gold touch on the cover and many photos and illustrations inside. It could be a great addition to your coffee table and a wonderful gift idea as well.

Do you own any of these books? Let us know in the comments section below.

As always, thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Those books look so inviting! I also saw one blogger reviewing “the luxe of life” i love reading but that habit is on halt for a bit. I might try to see if I can get that book and go back to that good habit of reading.

Lovely post! I love the looks of those books you have. 🙂 I’ve been bad with reading books lately – I’m far too busy with reading staff for my work and studies. Anyhow, I could probably borrow some of these from the local library next summer when I have three months of university. Thanks for sharing, Helene!
