As Christmas is less than a month away, I thought it was time (finally) to share with you some gift guides and some wishlists-gift suggestions, as well. I know most of bloggers have already started posting gift guides a few weeks now (some of them actually have completed their guides), but I guess it’s never too late to share mine too.
The last few years the word ”Hygge” popped up everywhere so that everyone was talking about the concept, how to Hygge, how to embrace the Hygge philosophy and furthermore, how to create your own Hygge Emergency Kit. The first gift guide I am sharing with you is all about Hygge, including all the things you need in your home to make this feeling real.
LIGHTS AND CANDLES
The right lighting can really transform a room and make any place looks warmer, inviting and cozy. A table adjustable light lamp, fairy lights and candles create different light layering and the right Hygge mood.
BLANKETS, RUGS AND PILLOWS
BOOKS AND FAVORITE BOOKS
Do you have a favorite book which you never get bored to read again and again? Grab it anytime you want to escape far away, throw your blanket around your feet and just feel the Hygge!
TEA AND CHOCOLATE (AND SOME COOKIES)
Tired of the hectic work day and any other daily obligations? You need to get back home and think of nothing at all. You want to clear your mind and to calm down and your favorite movie is waiting for you.
Once in a while, we all need to pamper ourselves at home, which can be cheap and easy as well. Take a warm bath, (light your candles of course) and if you are sharing these moments with your partner, why not to offer each other a massage?
NOTEBOOK AND PEN
As you are relaxing on the sofa, sipping your hot chocolate and feeling the warmth all around you, suddenly you have an inspiration. You need to write down your thoughts, so a beautiful notebook, your journal and a pen should be there for you.
WOOLEN SOCKS AND OVER-SIZED SWEATERS
So, what do you consider gifting (or buying for yourself) in order to offer and embrace the Hygge? Let us know in the comments section below.
As always, thank you for visiting and have a great day!
