How are you? Do you feel festive yet as Christmas is only 2 weeks away? I haven’t done any special decoration in my home but my tree was up since the end of November. The weather suddenly turned very cold this last week so I love staying in, working in the living room close to the Christmas tree, enjoying my hot tea and listening to my favorite songs from Il Divo! You know, the classics, Ave Maria, O Holy Night, etc.
Now, let’s get to the point! Today I am sharing with you a few beauty and makeup suggestions just in case you need some inspiration for your Christmas gift lists. Many of you might have already bought your gifts but I know some others haven’t done so far. I found it hard to choose only a few, as this year I have tried so many new brands and products. And I have to say, that I loved the most of them.
Starting from skincare,
a serum real booster for the skin is Vichy Mineral 89 which was launched earlier this year. It can be used from women at any age and with any skin type. It is perfect for everyday use as a serum or as a moisturizer. skinChemists was a brand I tried also for the first time last Summer. Besides the 24H Aqua Repair Facial Serum, perfect for dry and sensitive skin, two more products worth the try: the Essential Hydrating Eye Serum, a complex formulation, designed for the sensitive eye area and the Pro-5 Collagen Bee Venom Night Moisturiser. This night cream with antioxidant levels hydrates, nourishes and firms the skin.
For the body,
I love a rich, moisturizing cream, especially during the winter, when my skin tends to be drier than any other season. Sephora launched a limited Christmas edition a few weeks ago, the Winter Wonderland and one of the products in this collection is the nourishing velvet body cream. It’s a soft, rich but lightweight cream perfect for dedicated body treatment. The package is festive and the perfume amazing, cotton flower!
Speaking of perfumes,
I have always been a fan of Chloe’s perfumes and my favorite ever is Love! I love how soft, fresh and sophisticated this perfume can be. Another one favorite is Flowerbomb by Victor&Rolf, an explosion of flowers, a feminine yet so fascinating and captivating perfume.
For any makeup lover,
I have limited my suggestions to only three products. As I have mentioned above, Sephora launched the limited collection Winter Wonderland and the product which stole my heart is the Wonderful Stars palette for eyes and face. The package is so lovely and cute, white and pink and painted with small stars, Christmas trees and cute golden foxes. There are 9 eyeshadows, 2 blushes and a gorgeous highlighter. A gift suggestion for any age.
Blushes are always favorite makeup products for me so I think any makeup lover would love and appreciate a pretty package and an amazing pigmented color. Milani powder blush comes in many different shades which vary from blushed light pink to matte and fuchsia pink. As for the blush itself, isn’t this one of the prettiest rose blushes you have ever seen?
And for anyone in your list loving nude lipsticks (I bet every one of you has at least 2-3 different nude shades of lipsticks) what could be better than Charlotte’s Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick and the legendary Pillow Talk shade. This best-selling nude shade promises fuller and softer lips but it can be sold-out many times through the year. In this case, you could find a few alternative nude shades, such as Kidman’s Kiss, Super Cindy or Kim K.W. all from Hot Lips category.
I hope you have found in this post a few good choices for your gift list. A few more suggestions you can find below.
