Hello, everyone! Merry Christmas!
I know that we all have related Christmas and festive lipsticks with red or other dark colors but there are moments and occasions we might need a lighter shade. For a subtle but not so flat finish in my daily makeup during the festive period, I have found this beautiful metallic color. 530 Dark Pink Frost is a light pink shade with metallic finish and a little bit of shimmer, perfect for quiet yet bright lips.
Another new addition to my make bag. I got it very recently and I have tried it only once until now. It’s a liquid lipstick with a powder matte finish so I think it will be a good choice for a daily look. The color is a soft and very light berry shade with a metallic effect. I thought it was long lasting the only time I wear it but I will be sure after 2-3 uses.
Time to start wearing more intense colors! The Dark Wine lipstick is not a classic red shade, it is mostly a dark redwood or even a cherrywood shade. The lipstick is very pigmented but with a real silky finish so it’s lightweight and very comfortable for the lips. For a better application, I use the gel lip liner Make ‘Em Gelous–Perfect Pout Lip Liner from Wet n Wild as well, to outline the lips.
And let’s finish the festive lipstick collection with one more (almost) classic red shade! The Erre Due lipstick is very creamy and super moisturizing. As for the shade, you could call it classic red but with a twist of berry accent. It will match perfectly any green based eye look.
