Hello, everyone!

A vacation to a safari lodge does not only excite kids but many adults as well. Imagine a day in the wild, beholding majestic landscapes and seeing the best of flora and fauna that the safari can offer while enjoying your favorite drink. The whole safari experience continues to thrill many to the point that there are countless people who fell in love with the wild and made it their annual itinerary to come back and relive the experience. If you have not been to a safari lodge, you might want to consider visiting one in the coming days.

There are countless reasons to visit Kenya luxury safari lodges, here are just some of them:

1. It’s a great time off from the busy city

Cities are becoming more toxic overtime with the fast-paced life and daily demands of work and life. For your physical and mental health, you need a regular time off. Somewhere you can be relaxed and thrilled and just live the life. Safari lounges offer that experience and more. You can wake up to the sound of nature instead of the sound of honking vehicles on the street. Mental relaxation can be achieved and you will be re-energized to take on new challenges.

2. It’s a great me time

The reason many falls in love with the African safari is the fact that they felt they became connected to nature again. This time off for yourself will help you look at life in new perspectives. Being with nature in the wild is an experience anyone should have.

3. You can bring the whole family

Kids love safaris and you will, too! Bring the whole family and strengthen that familial bond. The place has a lot of things stored for all ages.  Plus, it is a great time to help your kids disconnect from the online realm and appreciate the real world and have great fun.

4. It’s not only about the big five

Elephants, lions, leopards, buffalos, and rhinos sure are a great spectacle of the safari and many are looking forward to seeing them. But there are more into safaris than these big guys. You will be able to enjoy a diverse offering of fascinating creatures and be able to see them in their natural habitat.

5. The possibilities are endless

A safari vacation is not just about sightseeing animals, stalking them in their natural homes, and observing their behavior. There are lots of things that a luxury safari lodge can offer. With the improvements in the hospitality industry, you get to enjoy more than you bargained for. There’s the food, the activities, the experience, the cozy accommodation, the warm African hospitality, the beautiful culture and many more. There are lots to see, hear, taste, and experience that are so beautiful you would want to come back for more.

Remember for your every journey: take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints, and bring home nothing but the experience and the memories.

I love this quote at the end: ” take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints, and bring home nothing but the experience and the memories.”
I have never been to Africa but who wouldn’t love this kind of adventure.
Wish I have opportunites to travel more. 🙂
    Great post, dear Helene.

I’ve never been to Africa but I’d like go there one day. Safari would be interesting experience. I’m scared of wild animals but probably I could handle it if there would be enough other people who know the environment with us. Thanks for sharing the list!

I’ve never been to Africa, but when I was younger my grandma took me to this zoo kind of a thing, where we saw giraffes & zebras and other animals (we drove there by a car so it was kind of a safari type of a thing). It was in Florida 🙂

It has never been on my list of desired things to do. Mostly because animals aren’t my biggest fans. But you make good points! I’ll think on it. Lol.
