Hello, everyone!

Hawaii conjures up images of beaches, clear water, and plenty of relaxation. This isn’t quite true. Maui is filled with adventure. From Hiking Tours In Maui to outdoor activities, you won’t be bored in this slice of island paradise. Here are some suggestions.

Go For A Helicopter Ride

Maui is a stunning Hawaiian Island. It’s a place where you’ll see beautiful scenery everywhere you go. One of the best ways to see everything is from above. Charter a helicopter ride, and you’ll never forget the experience. Plus, there are parts of the island that can only be seen from the air. Roads simply don’t extend in all directions.  On top of this, helicopter rides are fairly short. You pack even more fun into your day afterward.

Spend Some Time Zip Lining Amongst The Trees

A zip line is exactly what it sounds like – a sturdy line that’s anchored by trees and platforms. An employee will anchor your safety line and harness to the zip line, and you pull yourself around with your hands. If the zip line is at an angle, you won’t have to propel yourself. This is quite an adventure, although it isn’t as scary as it sounds.

Go Snorkeling

Since the waters around Maui are so very clear, you’ll be able to see plenty of ocean life while snorkeling. Some suggestions include going out on a catamaran to the coral reefs. Sometimes these can get a little crowded, at least on the boats. Once you’re in the water, you can separate from the pack to see as much as possible on your own.

Go Surfing

How can you visit the surfing capital of Hawaii and not go surfing? The waves are excellent. If you aren’t an experienced surfer, you can always take a class on how to catch the waves. You will never forget the time you went surfing in Hawaii in the same waters as the pros.

Spend Some Time Paddleboarding Or Kayaking

Both of these will take you out on the water. You’ll see plenty of fish, some turtles, and plenty of other sea creatures. On top of this, it’s a fairly inexpensive activity. There are plenty of competing companies angling for business, so the prices are very fair.

Go Hiking On Haleakala

Haleakala is a volcanic crater. Yes, you can walk up to the caldera. The best time to take Hiking Tours In Maui is in the morning. If you’re up and moving early enough, the sunrise over Haleakala is like nothing else. Make sure that your camera is ready! Of course, if you miss the sunrise, you can still hike around the area. There are plenty of paths to take.

Go Horseback Riding

Even if you haven’t been on horseback before, this is an activity that you need to do. The instructors at the rental stables can give you enough basic information to make your ride a success. You can wander around the beaches and other pathways on Maui while on the back of a horse. Talk about making memories!

I’d love to visit Hawaii one day! It’s actually one of the places we want to visit when we actually can get ourselves to our honeymoon (yup, 2 years late and will be a few more years haha).
