Hello, everyone!

Makeup Revolution London and the recently launched Revolution Pro, both under Revolution Beauty, are two brands which I love shopping from. Almost every week new products come out and once I found something interesting or totally new, I place my order. If you love beauty and makeup as much as I do, you know how exciting is to buy and try new products. So today, I am gonna show you what I got on my latest haul from Makeup Revolution and Revolution Pro. makeup-revolution-pro-makeup-haul

Makeup Revolution Fast Base Stick Foundation-F3

Every once in a while Revolution Beauty launches products that get hyped from bloggers or YouTubers. The same happened with this stick foundation which really worth the hype. It needs only a small amount to offer a good coverage (personally, not full coverage though). It is buildable and blendable and for me, the best way to blend it is using my fingertips. I always feel worried when it comes to the shade, as I choose it without trying the product, but I got the F3 shade and it’s the right one for my skin tone. The foundation is lightweight and soft and offers a comfortable wear for hours without drying out my complexion while the finish is natural and fresh. €5.99

Makeup Revolution Flawless Foils – Rose Gold

I am an eyeshadow palette lover! If you read my blog for a long time, you may already know this. More shades mean more excitement! But this little cute flawless foil deserves my attention, and yours! It’s a creamy yet almost powder eyeshadow which comes along with a small bottle of eye primer. I find the formula revolutionary, never tried any eyeshadow like this before. It is soft, creamy and super pigmented! Slides easily on the eyes, blends comfortable and leaves nothing but a vivid color and a fabulous shimmery finish. The rose gold shade is more a reddish-blush gold shade but it’s so beautiful and stands out either worn alone over the whole lid or in the center of the eyelids, combined with other eyeshadows. €5.99

Makeup Revolution Pro Fix Makeup Fixing Spray

For my everyday makeup, I usually don’t use a setting spray. I have normal to dry skin type and my makeup can last unchanged for many hours while my complexion doesn’t get greasy at all. But there are some days, when the temperature is really high for example, or some special days that I need to feel sure that my makeup will not be affected. On days like these, I use setting sprays. But truth to be told, I don’t see any big difference, I mean my makeup will last anyway, whether I use a spray or not. (Lucky me)

The setting spray from Makeup Revolution though, doesn’t cost a fortune, only 6,49€, is lightweight and dries quickly. Mostly during Spring and Summer, I like using cream blush or cream highlighter and whenever I do, I use the setting spray to finish my makeup as I have noticed that all the products melt into my skin and the finish is matte yet bright! €6.49

Revolution Pro Hydrate Undereye Primer

Although the last years I have found a few concealers that work really well on my skin type, I thought I would try the under eye primer which hydrates the under the eye area. And yes, this one it’s hydrating, thanks to its creamy formula which also smooths and preps the skin for the concealer. I don’t want the concealer or the foundation to settle into my fines lines around the eyes. Fortunately, the combination primer and concealer give me the best results as they work very well together leaving the area around the eyes smooth and refreshed. €5.99

Revolution Pro Correcting Primer Anti Redness – GreenRevolution Pro Correcting Primer – Radiant Cool Pink

If the redness on your face is more visible and intense on some points of it, then you need a green based primer which will reduce the redness and will balance it. The green primer is lightweight, almost watery but blends easily while hydrates the skin. €7.99 The pink primer now is also lightweight and watery and the main purpose is to brighten the dry and tired skin. It blends easily, it’s moisturising and quickly becomes one with the skin giving a radiant finish. You can read more about these two primers in my previous blog post. €7.99

Revolution Pro Regeneration Palette – Trends Azure

A recently launched palette, the Trends Azure contains 18 shades. The shades are a mix of matte and shimmers which give bold and vivid colors. There are natural and nude tones, (purpose, timeless) warm reds and oranges (journey, discovery) and a few stunning blue shades (ocean, night sky). They are very pigmented, especially the marble-foiled ones and the quality is fantastic. There is a little fallout but not a big deal for me. All the natural and warm shades are really wearable and can easily wear them day or night. The combinations I can make are more than enough and as I love every single shade I am gonna use it a lot from now on. €8.99

I’ve never tried Makeup Revolution before but this sounds like an amazing and affordable brand. I’ve been thinking of trying out a fixing spray but always wondered whether they actually work – might give this one a try because it would be so useful on a evening out.

    • May 25, 2018 / 1:22 pm

You can find them at Boots, go check them next time. I am sure you ll find something wonderful!

Lovely looking products! What comes to setting spray I have never thought that having a dry skin gives almost the same affect as the spray. I’ve never used those sprays and I’ve wondered why people use those by reading this I realized that reason I don’t actually need these is my relatively dry skin. Thanks for sharing your experience!

    • May 25, 2018 / 5:54 pm

It’s not working exactly that way, I mean you might have a dry skin type and an oily T zone, in that case a setting spray might needed. But yes, definitely, a makeup on a normal to dry skin type can last for hours, sometimes totally unchanged.

  10. May 25, 2018 / 2:39 pm

I so want this palette! I am really looking for something pigmented to try out different looks with it.

    • May 25, 2018 / 5:54 pm

Give it a try then, I am sure you will like it!
