SEVEN HEALTH BENEFITS OF DRINKING ESPRESSO

SEVEN HEALTH BENEFITS OF DRINKING ESPRESSO

Hello, everyone!

Coffee is one of the most drinked beverages in the entire world. It’s actually the third, next to water and tea. Drinking coffee or espresso has a lot of health benefits. Espresso is made using espresso machines that force steam through ground coffee beans. It’s a stronger form of black coffee that has a ton of health benefits. In this article, I am going to explore 7 health benefits of drinking espresso that will surely convince you to make it a part of your daily routine.

1. It improves long-term memory

Memory is important to everyone and as we grow old, we lose the ability to hold on to our memories. Thankfully, a shot of espresso can help you improve your memory. No, make that two. According to experts, 2 shots of espresso daily helps in memory consolidation.

2. It improves your attention span

Attention is important in performing our daily activities. And we’ve relied on coffee to help us be awake in the morning. Because of espresso’s ability to enhance dopamine concentration, our brains benefit from increased attention. Just don’t drink too much espresso because it can cause you to become jittery, which could weaken your attention span.

3. It’s quick and easy to prepare

Preparing your own espresso is super quick and easy to do especially if you’ve got the best espresso machine at home. As shown on coffeelovers.reviews, there are tons of choices out there. But you got to select one based on brew quality, reliability, ease of maintenance, efficiency, and of course price. Having a reliable espresso maker surely does make life easier. But in case you haven’t invested in one yet, it’s just a quick order at your favorite coffee shop.

4. It improves your physical performance

Coffee has the ability to improve your physical performance by working on your central nervous system and releasing more adrenaline. Because of this, muscle contraction is improved. If you’ve got a long day to prepare for or you have a physical activity coming up, downing a shot of quality espresso is a good way to start your day.

5. It helps with weight loss

A lot of people are struggling with weight loss. Thankfully espresso is very different from other types of coffee. You down it in very small quantities, concentrated, and without sugar and creamer. That said, it’s remarkably low in calories, just 3 cals per ounce! And because it improves your physical performance, you’d have more energy to exercise. It also encourages you to workout more because it reduces muscle pain.

6. It improves your digestion

Drinking espresso helps improve your digestion by keeping your bowels moving. Remember the time when you had to go the bathroom after a cup of coffee? Yup, that’s coffee in the works. It relieves constipation and also minimizes sugar absorption. Which leads us to the 7th health benefit of drinking espresso.

7. It reduces your risk of diabetes

Diabetes is a disease that plagues 9.3% of the entire adult population of America. And that’s just the number of diagnosed patients, who knows how many out there are suffering without any medical attention. While espresso is not the cure for diabetes, because it minimizes sugar absorption, it sure helps. But it’s not the only thing you should do to avoid diabetes overall. Stay active and eat a healthy and balanced meal.
