ALTHEA KOREA BARE ESSENTIALS

ALTHEA KOREA BARE ESSENTIALS

Hello, everyone!

Some of the products I wanted to try since the day they launched at Althea Korea are from the Bare Essentials line. Actually, I wanted to try all the three products, so when I placed my first order on Althea’s Korea website (using my welcome bonus and birthday points as an Althea Angel) I chose them without a second thought.

Easy, skin-nourishing, specially curated trio for a simple routine that perfects the skin over time.

The Bare Essentials

range is a part of Althea’s exclusive products and consists of three products that can be used for any skin type: Contour Cleanser, Primer Water and Fixer Cream. The great makeup needs a perfect skin base and this range simplifies skincare down to just three steps for the best results with a minimum of care. Containing natural ingredients, carefully selected, the products offer the most hydrating experience to your skin.

Contour Cleanser-$6**

What is the very first step in your skincare routine? Mine is cleansing of course! Not only I want to feel my face clean, but I also want to be sure that my skin will be ready to welcome the next products (and all their benefits) in my regime. The contour cleanser is a rich foaming cleanser which contains micro-capsules to cleanse skin and gently exfoliate away impurities and any dead skin. Contains ice plant which hydrates and calms redness and lemon verbena leaf (smells amazing), rich in vitamin C and antioxidants to strengthen and refresh the skin. The micro-capsules improve blood circulation and so the skin remains clean and healthy as well. Although the foam is rich can be rinsed off easily and quickly leaving my complexion healthful and fresh!

Primer Water-$11**

This is not a simple tonic water although it works like this, but it’s also a primer that smooths, hydrates and brightens the skin with its snow lotus extracts. The Primer Water contains patented ‘dewdrop’ technology which offers an extra moisture to the skin, responsible for that dewy glow from within. My skin looks nourished, soft and silky, ready and prepped like a canvas for the makeup products to come. The application process couldn’t be easier: I apply a small amount directly on my face without using any cotton pad and it absorbs easily within a few seconds.

Fixer Cream-$13**

This cream is the last step to my current morning routine, a real powerful moisturizing cream that provides the skin with hydration for up to 24 hours. Contains Trehalose, a powerful humectant that retains moisture on the skin and Wild Green Tea extracts, rich in antioxidants which hydrate and soothe the skin. Contains also Baobab Tree Extract, which promotes collagen production leaving my face nourished and looking revitalized and at it’s best. The cream is non-oily, has a light scent and absorbs very quickly.

Althea’s Bare Essentials line is hypoallergenic and cruelty-free. You can find and shop any of the products separately or you can choose all three together.

Only three steps and simple to do, that’s my kind of routine! I need to figure something out before we start getting cooler temps here in the next month or two because my skin always gets so dry in the winter, even in the higher humidity in the south.
