OCTOBER FAVORITES

Hello everyone and Happy November!

Where did October go? It was a long month, 31 days, yet has past so, so quickly. Anyway, it’s time to share with you my October favorites, a few things I have set apart last month and a few more I have loved.

Bubi Bubi Lip Scrub by Unpa from Althea Korea**

This is actually my first product from this Korean brand, Unpa, and my first lip scrub as well. Although my lips get drier during winter they never get too dry and they don’t crack easily, as I love using lip care balms all the time. But whenever I need to prep my lips I use this Bubi Bubi lip scrub. It’s made with natural, fruit-based ingredients; Papaya, peach and grapefruit extracts which very gently exfoliate removing any dead lip skin, even and smooth lips and improve lips’ blood circulation leaving my lips soft and hydrated.

The application and usage are easy and funny: I apply the product with my fingers and once the bubble comes up I wait a few minutes. When the bubble is finally reduced I start to massage my lips removing away the scrub and my lips’ dead skin. In order to feel my lips clean and fresh, I rinse off with water any remaining product and put on my lip balm. My lips are ready for the perfect pout!

The little book of life hacks by Yumi Sakugawa

Do you want to know how to remove wrinkles from clothing without ironing? Or do you want to know how to organize chaotic cable clutter? Maybe you are looking for different super ways to wear a scarf. Or maybe, you wanna know how to make the perfect scrambled eggs. Well, for all those needs and useful hacks and even more, you have now your book. Yumi Sakugawa, a comic book artist and a writer as well, created this illustrated book offering the perfect guide to help you find life savers hacks, insightful tips and wonderful DIY ideas in order to feel and live healthier and look better inside and out. In general, Yumi created this funny yet charming and handy book to help you streamline and improve your life and home, your body and why not, your mind as well.

My favorite hacks? On page 174, ”Quirky ways to de-stress and find your zen” and on page 178, ”Attract magic into your life”.  And although the book looks girly and sometimes hard to read because of all the little, colorful pictures, I really liked it for it’s positive and motivating mindset.

Astley Clarke Beaded Stilla Ear Cuff Rose Gold (Vermeil)

Well, this is one more ”first buy”, this time from a jewelry brand.  Astley Clarke is a UK jewelry brand founded in London in 2007 which offers quality fine jewellery for the modern woman. Pieces are refined yet easy-to-wear, intelligent and joyful. I got this cute little ear cuff in my favorite metal, Rose Gold and I absolutely love how delicate and beautiful it looks. It is crafted from 18 karats rose gold plated silver and it’s also super easy to wear, without any need for a piercing. Fits comfortably on my ear ( I wear it in the middle of my ear) and remains secure without any pressure. Definitely, I am gonna shop more products from Astley Clarke!

White mug with stars and message ”love”

Would you believe it that I got this ceramic mug for only 1,5 euro? Well yes, you heard it right, 1,5 euro. I got it from a Greek store which sells thousands of different products such as clothes, accessories, home products, pet’s supplies and the list goes on. The mug is white with a small handle featuring little stars and the word love, both embellished with gold details. I love the design and its high quality (despite the low price). And I love the fact that it looks much more expensive than really is.
