Hello, everyone!
Althea Korea did it again! First, earlier this Summer was the successful launch of the Real Fresh Skin Detoxers in collaboration with Get It Beauty TV. Then, just a few weeks ago was the launch of the Petal Velvet Sunaway. With an SPF of 50+ and PA++++, lightweight and with Damask Rose extracts, the Petal Velvet sunscreen leaves the skin fresh, hydrated and protected. And now, the time has come for another one Althea Exclusives product, the Milk Peel Cream Mask!
MILK PEEL CREAM MASK BY ALTHEA KOREA/Package-ingredients
The product comes in a minimal white bottle (contains 50ml) with a light blue cap, having also a pump dispenser which makes it easy to dispense. The texture is creamy; after all, it’s a cream peel/mask and has an amazing scent: it smells like a baby powder and sometimes it reminds me of a glass of milk flavored with vanilla extract.
As its name indicates, the milk (milk casein protein) it’s the first ingredient which moisturizes and strengthens the skin. The Milk Peel Cream Mask** is formulated also with AHA and BHA which gently yet effectively exfoliate away dead skin. AHA and BHA are two different acids. The Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) exfoliates the skin’s surface and helps the skin’s natural shedding process while the Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA) removes impurities and de-clogs the pores. But once the two acids work together within a narrow pH, not only they clean the skin, but they also hydrate it, even skin’s tone, offering a smooth and brighter complexion.
Another key ingredient is the Kaolin which also detoxifies and pulls out impurities from the pores, cleansing softly the skin, making it look and feel firmer and eventful. The Milk Peel Cream Mask is suitable for any skin type: combination skin types, skin with enlarged pores, rough, yet sensitive skin that needs gentle exfoliation and dry skin that needs to stay moisturized even after peeling. The combination Milk+AHA+BHA delivers only the best results, cleansed, exfoliated and hydrated complexion.
My thoughts
It’s been already 10 days since I started using this new triple care product and I am really impressed with it. I use it every other night and although I have a dry skin (and sensitive from time to time), the combination AHA & BHA doesn’t cause any irritation on my skin. Doesn’t dry out my skin as well, and on the contrary, my skin, all thanks to the milk proteins, remains soft and moisturized, healthy and smooth to the look and to the touch.
Here is the suggested and the way as well I use the Milk Peel Cream Mask: I damp my skin and I apply a thin layer onto the face. Then I gently massage the cream until a rich lather forms and I wait about 30-60 sec before I rinse it away with warm water. There is a light tingling feeling while the product bubbles which make the usage funny and not irritating at all. But I don’t use the peel mask in the day because of the sun. When the sun comes out, even during winter, can damage the skin after using AHA or BHA, so you better be careful too!

I’ve actually never heard of this brand before

My skin gets so dry during the winter, I need to try something like this soon to see if it can help.
Oh, I definitely have to try this!
I’ve never heard of a milk cream peel mask before. And I was surprised that you rinsed it off rather than letting it dry (like other facial masks I have used) and then peeling it off. Glad it moisturizes your skin well!
Oooh I totally want to try this, thanks for the info.
I really love the sounds of this product. I need a good face mask and detox.
I love the packaging of these products. It’s totally something I would try.
I have combination skin, parts are oil and other parts are dry. It’s difficult finding something that works for my skin. I’m trying to keep is simple right now and am using an Olay face wash and moisturizer but I think I need to stop using the moisturizer at night, my skin feels oily when I wake up.
I love milk baths, but I’ve never heard of this for a mask. I will have to look into this.
I love cream mask products! and I would totally find this brand 🙂
