PixiGlow Cake Palette

PixiGlow Cake Palette

Hello, everyone!

Last year I had the chance to try many products from Pixi Beauty, especially from their makeup range. From eyeshadow palettes to liquid lipsticks or liquid eyeshadows to mascara, every Pixi product is unique and I have loved all of them. Last November I received the PixiGlow Cake palettes (3 in 1 Luminous Transition Powders) along with a cute and useful selfie ring and so today I will share them with you.

The PixiGlow Cake 3 in 1 Luminous Transition Powders come in two luminous colorways. Each palette contains 24gr and three different powders-shades which can be used as a blush, for contouring and as a highlighter. There is an ombré design within the powder and the shades can be used individually or blended.

From Pixi’s website:

This light-diffusing palette helps to achieve a naturally healthy, radiant complexion with flushed apples of the cheeks, subtle contouring and glowing highlights. The shades in the gradient make it easy to create a sheer wash of luminous colour that enhances your PixiGlow!

Product details:

3-in-1 coordinated cheek colour. This silky soft, light-diffusing cheek-glow palette enhances and perfects as it maximises complexion’s radiance adding a luminous sheer wash of colour.
Ceramides help restore skin’s moisture barrier.
Peptides plump and firm.
Grape Seed Extract improves skin’s elasticity.

PixiGlow Cake PinkChampagne**

The PixiGlow Cake PinkChampagne consists of a light pink shade, suitable for a highlighter, a medium pink which delivers a fresh, subtle color on the cheeks and of a darker shade, a brown pink which can be used for contouring as well as a blush. If you blend the three shades you take a new beautiful shade, which I would call it pinky peach. All the shades are versatile and suitable for many skin tones.

PixiGlow Cake GildedBare Glow**

Just as the first option, the GildedBare Glow palette contains three shades: light champagne, perfect for a highlighter, a soft pink that looks wonderful on the cheeks and a darker bronze shade which can be used for contouring or as a bronzer. In case you blend the three shades you create a new beautiful copper shade.

My thoughts

Both palettes are soft and buttery cream and blend easily. But they are not too pigmented. In fact, I need to apply more than once any of these shades on my face in order to have the desired color and to achieve the full pigmentation. But, the looks I can create are natural yet glowy and radiant, and I love how all the shades match harmoniously with my fair skin tone. From the lightest highlighter to medium blush to the darker bronzer, all the shades work so well together and that is something I can see it on my face. Thank you so much Pixi Beauty for sending me over this glowing package! Always impressed with your beautiful gifts!

These are really pretty Helene. I want to try some of Pixi Makeup too as I love their skincare range. Although I have not tried every skincare item. You have tempted me with those liquid lipsticks and blushes. They are on my wish list now. I also like that we can never overdo the blush as the pigmentation is subtle. 🙂
