Just before Christmas, many beauty brands had amazing sales. I was browsing through BeautyBay and that 30% discount on Wet n Wild caught my attention. I decided to have a better look and ended up with a new makeup order. Wet n Wild is a brand I have tried several times in the past and although their products are super affordable their quality is impressive.
This is one of the first products I have tried and this time I chose a darker shade for when I get some tan. It’s a lightweight foundation but it’s also build-able and that for, you can have the coverage you choose. Blends out quickly and gives a matte finish, yet my skin remains and looks soft and fresh.
I got the shade Medium Tawny, which is suitable for light to medium skin tones. I had already a lighter shade so I thought this one would be a great match for a darker foundation. (It’s too dark though so I have to mix it with the a lighter shade) Its formula is creamy, covers dark circles and conceals any redness or dark spots. I like the small doe foot applicator as well, personally, I find it easier to use it.
This is the powder I can match almost with any of my foundations! It’s very lightweight and I use it to set my concealer and/or my whole makeup. Leaves my face soft and offers great coverage without being heavy on my skin.
If you can’t put your mascara on your lower lashes without any mess then this is the mascara you need. The slim wand on the applicator grabs and separates the bottom lashes making them look longer. It has a strong scent though once you open it but although my eyes are sensitive it doesn’t cause any irritation.
During the winter I don’t wear a primer daily but, when I choose to, I prefer a mattifying primer that leaves my skin smooth yet somehow hydrated, exactly as this one does. Works perfectly with the Wet n Wild foundation. I don’t like the intense scent but I am glad that it fades away upon application.
Another product I don’t use daily, especially during winter as my dry skin rarely needs it. The days I need one though, I want a setting spray that sets my makeup but leaves my skin fresh and as well a natural finish. I think all the products from the Photo Focus range have an intense scent and so this setting spray does, but as long as any of these don’t irritate my skin or my eyes, it’s not a big deal.
And this is the last product I got. It’s a beautiful eyeshadow palette which consists of 10 shades, two transitions and eight more shades which vary from pink to orange to beige and brown. They are pigmented and soft, not battery thought while a few of them have a bit of fall out. I like this color combination and for the price I paid, the value is great.
