An Althea Korea Makeup Look-Lovely Pink

Hello, everyone!

As you may know already, Althea Korea has its own exclusive range which contains some of my favorite skincare products. The Bare Essentials collection and the Real Fresh Skin Detoxer Set are the two lines from Althea Korea that I have loved since the very first time I tried them. Another one favorite product of mine, is the Petal Velvet Powder, a product which I have always in my makeup bag.  With that in mind, I was really excited to try the whole new makeup line that Althea Korea launched just before Christmas.

As a member of Althea’s Korea beauty ambassador community, (Althea Angels) I received the new makeup collection and I created this look using all these products. The new collection consists of the Flawless Creamy Concealer**, (4 shades), the Watercolor Cream Tint** (4 shades also) and the Spotlight Eye Glitter** (2 shades). Along with these items I got the ”Sunrise and Moonrise**” eyeshadow palette which unfortunately at the moment is not available worldwide.

Starting from the base,

after using the Bare Essentials Set which hydrates and prepares the skin, I skipped the foundation and used only the concealer. Of course, I used more than one shade: I used a mix of vanilla and ginger to conceal and brighten the under my eyes area and I used the two other shades, honey and mocha to cover any redness or blemishes on my face. To set the concealer under my eyes I used the Petal Velvet Powder #0translucent and all over my face I used the Petal Velvet Powder in shade #23warmbeige.

Continuing with the eyes,

I used the shade #2 (matte beige) as a base all over my lid. In the crease I used the shade #5 (shimmer pink) and then I used the shade #8 (matte mauve) to define the outer corner of my eyes. To add a little sparkle I added the Spotlight Eye Glitter (shade pink) on the center of my upper lid and I blended it with my fingertips. To highlight the inner corner of my eyes I used the shade #1 (champagne). On my lower lash line, I used again the shade #8. I finished the look with just one coat of mascara.

For the rest of my face,

I used the darker shade mocha of the concealer to contour a little bit my cheekbones. To add color on my cheeks I didn’t use blush, I used the Watercolor Cream Tint in shade #03PeachCream. Every shade is soft, highly pigmented and has amazing longevity. For highlighter, I used the shade #1 from the eyeshadow palette!

As for my lips,

I used again the Watercolor Cream Tint in shade #04MarronCream this time which is a beautiful redish pink. I love wearing it any time of the day and along with the #03PeachCream, they are my favorite shades.
