A few days ago I received the new Cult Beauty Starter Kit. This Starter Kit is actually a beauty box. It contains six amazing products, skincare and makeup, and retails at £30 but worth over £75. With brands from Pixi to Huda Beauty to Charlotte Tilbury, the box is already sold out but here is the link to it, you may want to sign up to get to the waitlist once it’s available any time soon. But let’s see the products that make this beauty box unique!
Huda Beauty Topaz Obsession Palette
That was the first product which captivated me as it’s full-size (worth £25) and costs almost as much as the whole box. As for the palette itself, it consists of nine shades, five creamy mattes and four shimmers which varies from gold to bronze to rich amber, perfect colors to create warm, autumnal looks.
Pixi Beauty Retinol Tonic
Having already tried the famous Glow Tonic and the adored Rose Tonic I would love to try the Retinol Tonic as well. It comes in travel size and contains of course retinol which promotes skin renewal, brightens skin tone and softens fine lines. (worth £10)
The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser
Another full-size product in the box. It’s a cleansing product free from soap so it’s suitable for all skin types, even sensitive ones. I have already tried it a few times since I got it and I really like it. It cleanses my face from makeup and dirt without any loss of moisture. This cleanser works on dry skin as it melts into oil so I prefer using it for double cleansing. (worth £5.50)
Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask
Sleeping masks are everywhere and although I have tried some of the bests so far (Laneige, Kiehl’s) I’ve never tried this famous Watermelon mask. I have heard and read a lot of good reviews and I am really curious to find out whether is worth it. (The mini size, 30ml, worth £20.50)
Nars The Multiple shade Orgasm
The very well known Orgasm shade from Nars comes here as The Multiple stick which can be applied all over the face, used as a highlighter on high points of the face and used to enhance eyes and lips as well as cheeks. As for the shade, a sheer warm pink with golden shimmer suits and flatters every skin tone. (4gr worth £8.50)
Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution lipstick in Pillow Talk
Chances are, that you have already tried the Pillow Talk. I own already a tube of this famous lipstick and I love it. And this mini version of it is so cute and a must-have in any makeup bag. It is the perfect nude, not too beige neither too pink, so it’s suitable for any skin tone. (1gr worth £9.60)
